If you want more variety, different expressions, both black and white backdrop options, or a few images for different uses, the Professional Refresh is a better fit.

If you need a more versatile set of portraits for your website, proposals, social media, speaking profiles or media features, the Branding Set gives us more time to create a wider range of images.

Yes. The Essential Headshot and Professional Refresh are studio-only sessions. This keeps the process simple, efficient and consistent, with clean black and white backdrop options.

If you need environmental portraits or images that feel more connected to your workspace, industry or brand, the Branding Set is a better starting point. Environmental portraits can be added for an additional fee if they suit how you want to use the images.

Yes. For the Essential Headshot, you can choose either black or white.

For the Professional Refresh, we can usually photograph both black and white backdrop options within the session time.

For the Branding Set, we can use both backdrop options if the session is studio-based.

Choose clothing that feels like you, but a little more polished than your everyday. Solid colours usually photograph well, and it is best to avoid tiny patterns, heavy logos or anything that feels distracting.

If you are unsure, bring a couple of options and I can help you decide on the day. Jackets, blazers, simple layers and different necklines can be useful because they give us subtle variety without needing a full outfit change.

What to Wear & How to Prepare

I’ll guide you through the session with simple direction, small posture adjustments, expression prompts and angles that work for you. Most people feel a little awkward at the start, and that is completely normal. The session is designed to feel relaxed and straightforward.

For the Essential Headshot, please arrive ready in the outfit you want photographed.

For the Professional Refresh, you can bring one simple variation, such as adding or removing a jacket, changing a top, or adjusting layers.

For the Branding Set, you can bring up to three outfit looks so we can create more variety.

After your session, you’ll receive a private proofing gallery. From there, you can choose the images you would like fully edited and retouched.

You do not need to decide on the spot during the session, which takes the pressure off. You can look through the gallery properly and select the images that feel most useful to you.

Final images are edited and naturally retouched. This includes clean colour, exposure, lighting adjustments, skin tone refinement and small temporary distractions where needed.

The aim is polished, not plastic. You will still look like yourself.

Yes. If you love more images from your proofing gallery, you can purchase additional retouched images after the session.

Additional retouched images are $85 per image.

Your proofing gallery is usually sent first so you can choose your favourites. Once you have made your selection, final retouched images are delivered within the agreed turnaround time.

If you need your images urgently for a deadline, let me know before booking so I can confirm whether a faster turnaround is possible. A rush fee may apply. 

Yes, professional hair and makeup can be arranged depending on availability. This is especially helpful if you want a more polished finish or if your images will be used across websites, media features, speaking profiles or marketing material.

Yes. These images are designed for professional use across platforms such as LinkedIn, websites, email signatures, business profiles, speaker bios, proposals, media features and social media.

If you need the images for larger advertising campaigns, third-party commercial use or publication beyond your own business presence, please let me know so we can make sure the correct usage is covered.
