Considered, accurate documentation of creative work, made with a real understanding of what it is for. With a degree in Applied Arts and years working in galleries, including registration and photography roles, I photograph exhibitions, individual artworks, installations, studio processes and opening events with the care each one deserves. This is not just a record. Colour accuracy, scale, context and detail all matter, because these images go on to live in catalogues, funding and grant applications, publications, press and your archive. I work methodically, keep a light footprint in the space, and I am used to the timeframes galleries work to, so a show is documented properly before it opens. Whether you are an artist, a curator or an arts organisation, the aim is the same: images that do justice to the work and the thinking behind it.
