Held at McKay Stadium in Whangārei, the Te Tai Tokerau Regional Kapa Haka 2024 brought together thousands to celebrate fierce talent, pride, and connection through haka and waiata. I was there to photograph the energy on and off stage – moments of intensity, unity, and joy across a day that showcased the strength of te ao Māori in Te Tai Tokerau.
